We encourage you to take advantage of our pre-admission prior to your admission with us. Our friendly reception staff is available and invites all who will be admitted at the hospital for information. They will assist you to prepare for your admission with us, as well as assist with obtaining medical aid authorization.

What is preadmissions

If you are a medical aid patient it is very important for you to get authorisation for your procedure before you book into the hospital. Our pre-admission staff are available to assist you with this task. Although we cannot get the authorisation number for you, we will help you to contact your medical aid and ensure that you have all the necessary information needed to facilitate the process.

Your medical aid will also provide you with information about any short payments, co-payments or limits that you may have in relation to your procedure. Please record this information and feel free to discuss this with our pre-admission staff.
