In a little over two (2) years of its’ existence Busamed Harrismith Private Hospital continues to grow while changing the face of healthcare in the Eastern Free State. A first of its kind in the small town of Harrismith, the hospital boasts state-of-the-art technology and highly trained and experienced specialists.
One such specialist service is Mohosho Women’s clinic at Busamed Harrismith Private Hospital. The Obstetrics and Gynecology services clinic continues to change the lives of female patients who now have access to world-class healthcare in their backyards.
A patient admitted at the hospital had this to say about Mohosho Women’s clinic and Busamed Harrismith Private hospital: “I was diagnosed with a life threatening gynecological condition, and I had to undergo a major surgical procedure. Instead of an open surgery for Hysterectomy, I was operated through key-hole sized incisions using camera equipment- Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. Thanks to this new and advanced surgical technology, I recovered quickly. Within two weeks, I had completely recovered, as opposed to the two months it would have taken me to recover if I had undergone an open surgery. Many thanks to Busamed Private Hospital for bringing such advanced technology and expertise to those of us not living in metro-cities. I also wish to thank Mohosho Women’s Clinic for saving my life!”
The hospital manager, Mr. Rudi Clarke stated that the hospital remains committed to bringing quality healthcare and specialist services to the Harrismith, QwaQwa and surrounding areas. As the hospital continues to grow, it looks forward to increasing its range of specialist services while building long sustainable relations with the community and all stakeholders
