As adequate rest is also a vital part of the recovery process please respect the rest time from 13:00 to 15:00 and know that only two people may visit at a time.
If you are not feeling well, please refrain from visiting patients in the hospital. You are welcome to send a message of support to the patient via the message form on the website.
As infection prevention is very important to all patients, you will be requested to disinfect your hands on entering the hospital and before you visit patients.
Please discuss visiting opportunities for children under 12 with the Unit Manager of the ward, so that an appropriate arrangement can be made.
As patients’ health is the primary concern, the Hospital may on occasions amend or restrict visiting based on individuals requirements and their condition.
In light of the above please note that ICU 1 and ICU 2 do have restricted visiting times. 11:00 – 12:00, 15:00 – 16:00 and 19:00 – 20:00
Before visiting patients in ICU it is recommended that you call the ward to confirm the visiting needs of the person concerned. Please plan your visits for a few days after surgery so that the patient can have adequate rest and time to begin their recovery.

Please remember that flowers are not permitted in ICU.
As the catering department will accommodate individual food preferences and patients may be on special diets, it is requested that no food is brought to the hospital. Please do not hesitate to advise staff if a patient has special dietary requirements.
Comfort rooms are provided on each floor of the hospital for visitors who need private space or a place to wait while patients are in surgery. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hospital should you wish to catch up on emails or access the internet. The Press Club, with a reputation for serving tasty food and excellent coffee, is situated on the Ground Floor and is open to visitors from 08:00 to 20:00 every day.
